Ok, this is the page we decided we would add in a previous class meeting. On this page you can communicate politely and positively with your class mates. It would be a wonderful place to let us know any interesting hobbies you do and achievements that you have earned. Ask you friends some interesting questions? Help them understand what’s going on. We completed our fitness evaluation, but we’ll leave the final running total till next Monday so we can get one more 12 minute run in. Ms Wilson’s class had an interesting maths challenge session for us, as rewards we got to choose strange choices of food! Tomorrow is the final day for quizzes I will print certificates on Monday. Gee a lot of people are getting medals in the Premiers and Be Active challenge. For gfwys, the people that managed their impulsivity should get a prize. I don’t think the chipmunks will get one this year. They really like to laugh. Changing the subject, how are you going being a teacher this year? If I were you I would love it. Our class rules the school. And keep loving star wars.

That is an interesting point about a prize for managing impulsivity. I reckon though that being successful is reward in itself. You’ll notice I really don’t give out many prizes , but I understand your point of view. I do agree that we do rock, perhaps because we work well together. Mind you Mrs Busolin sent me a charming email telling me how wonderful you all were in music and that she was most impressed by how you collaborate together and help each other out. So other people do notice the great choices you make.Now as far as my teaching, well that’s a tough one. Do you think I’m doing okay? I love each class I work with although each year it is different I think I learn a lot from working with you all. I will keep liking Star Wars but it is Star Trek that I love.

I hope you had a great trip. I have been on the blog when you were away, sorry this letter is late, but I have a lot on as right now because we have to look after the new puppy and she is a handful. So that is why I haven’t had time to write a letter to you because we have to take her on two walks a day. Then on Mondays we have to take her to puppy school. How about you is your husband fully recovered yet. I showed my family all the photos of your trip when we were eating dinner. My mum and dad don’t mind if we have electronected stuff at the table.

Thanks for your thoughtful letter, I did indeed have a great time in Vanuatu there was just so much to do. I particularly liked the snorkelling and trek through the jungle and caves. But of course the highlight was the volcanic experience that was breathtakingly awesome. It was unfortunate that Peter was injured and had problems with his leg but slowly he is recovering and is almost able to put his shoe back on and walk properly. It has taken a while.
Hey how about your new puppy, sounds like she is a handful indeed. What name did you decide on? That is a huge responsibility. She will be with you guys for a long time so I hope she is working hard at puppy school. Do you get to take her? Does she have homework too? Will she be an inside or outside dog?
Thanks for sharing our blog with your family they get to share in your school activities. I guess I should put some of the great maths we’ve been doing. Enjoy you new puppy.

I sure did enjoy bouldering and sometimes I thought my little legs would never get over those extremely large boulders but I never gave up and tad I made it up and over! Hello my Dear children,
I have finally touched down in Adelaide, and I am happy to be home although I did enjoy my time in Vanuatu very much. I actually wrote you a very long message in Pt Vila but as you know sometimes it doesn’t post and it was lost to cyberspace argh! ( Now I know how you guys feel when you write and it doesn’t get through! Wifi over there isn’t very good.
I hear you have a very busy week next week, so work hard Mrs Padgette tells me you have been very helpful, way to go teams. I knew you wouldn’t let us down. I will be sad to miss Book Week but take photos so I don’t miss your creations.
I have a lot of interesting things to tell you about my amazing adventures..We are lucky to be alive… a little scary stuff happened on more than one occasion. My poor husband is very sore though, he is unable to walk on his left foot…long story!
But it was AWESOME… I got to stand next to an exploding volcano whoo hoo I’ll show you the films. and we saw a very rare sea creature… we caught that on film too. Oh it was fabulous. I have now got to get Peter better or at least back walking. I should be back for week six.

Greetings one and all from Vanuatu,
I hope you are all well and working hard for Mrs Belle. With Book Week coming up how are your preparations coming along. it will be sad to miss it. however I am busy exploring this beautiful country. I am staying on the largest island called Santo. The resort that I am living in is close to the ocean so we have been getting on small boats and exploring the coral reefs. I have done hours of snorkelling. absolutely fabulous tropical marine fish everywhere. I saw a reef shark swim under me yesterday and two coral snakes!
We went on a great adventure through the rainforest trekking through traditional villages and then through along cave filled with bats and swallows. to get back we had to climb many boulders and swim down a river. That was awesome.
We spent a morning in a traditional village and learnt a lot about their traditional way of life.
Today we will visit a site called million dollar point. that is where American soldiers dumped all their unwanted heavy machinery after the war in1945. what they did was to build a jetty and then they turned the engines of themachines on and let them fall into the sea. apparently there are all sorts of equipment piled on top of each other. it will being wresting to snorkel around that.
Tomorrow we fly to a smaller island called Tanna. That is where Mt Yasur is, which is an active volcano. I am lookin forward to that. That island has no wifi so my next letter will be back inPt Villa.
I do miss you andI know you are doing your best.

Well I think Peter loves snorkelling and I like it just to keep him company. I get sea sick, so when the waves are rough I don’t feel so good, but snorkelling on tropical reefs is pretty amazing. I must wear a wetsuit though because I get cold quickly and can’t stay in for long. Do you think you might snorkel one day? I love checking out interesting things under the jetties of Adelaide, that is such fun.
Well I think it could be Nemo all grown up but then again there were so many of them it could be his relations.
Peter is very slowly getting better, he can almost put his foot down now. I still have to take him to the doctors every two days so the can check his blood. He will take a long time but he will get better. Thanks for thinking about him.

Thank you for being the best friend ever this year. Which group are you in for swimming I’m in the turtles ?. have you been in the big pool yet I have ?. I actually stay in the big pool for the whole lesson. Do you know that the big pool is heated. One end of the big pool is five metres deep and the other end is two metres deep. I can do really well in my swimming skills, the best skill I can do is freestyle. What about you what is stork can you do the best.

I am getting all excited about this mysterious game of yours, I have a sneaky suspicion it has. Space theme. yes I’ll make sure Pater plays with me. Actually tonight we played our normal Thursday night battle to protect Monarch city from the nasty villains. sadly my hero was killed and I had to take on a new role but he got killed too In fact all of the players were in the same boat. Tonight the evil dragons Ne nasty generals were to strong for us and we perished. the city was destroyed and the dragons were victorious…argh!
No apart from normal reading by here was no other homework. I did give out swimming convent forms so remember to get yours from me. I hope the force is with you to for a speedy recovery of what ever made you stay home.

I can see that you really like to do gender balance. I really like it because then I get to meet more people. How are you going with teaching? Also how do you get all of the creative ideas e.g. the BFG art? For a fact the sun is actually a bull of gas and the stars are actually sun. I know it sounds weird but it is true.

Yes I do think it is a good idea to mix up gender because if I didn’t the same gender always goes together and you miss out sharing great learning. As for the creative ideas well I read a lot and check out art books but sometimes there are art activities that I can use for any topic and this year it happened to be the BFG.
I’m glad you know that about stars lots of people don’t so we will have to teach them won’t we my little astronomy apprentice. You can be my padwa, in Star wars new Jedis are called Padwa. So what interesting questions do you have for next terms space topic? We will be learning about night and day.
